Position: Spanish teaching position for the 2026-2027 school year.
About the role
Teach Spanish to high school students at WEST CAREER TECH ACADEMY.
Responsibilities
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with state standards.
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Evaluate student progress through assessments and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
- Valid teaching credential in Spanish from the Nevada State Board of Education.
- At least two years of successful teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish.
- Knowledge of Second Language Acquisition principles.
- Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
