Weekend, Part-Time | Seasonal (December – March) Join the Jiminy Peak Ski Racing team and help shape the next generation of alpine athletes! Race Coaches work with skiers from U8 through U19, providing instruction, mentorship, and guidance in a safe and supportive environment. This is a weekend, part-time seasonal position running from early December through mid-March, with some travel to local Tri-State racing events. Certifications may grant differentials in pay rate. Responsibilities & Duties Teach and coach alpine ski racing principles with clarity, positivity, and enthusiasmCreate and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment for all athletesLead by example with professionalism, energy, and a positive attitude toward all assignmentsDemonstrate strong knowledge of Jiminy Peak, including mountain operations, food and beverage, lodging, and lifts, to assist athletes and families as neededMaintain a professional appearance—helmet, jacket, and name tag required at all timesUphold Jiminy Peak’s mission, vision, and core valuesBe punctual and reliable, adhering to the team’s training and racing schedule Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or olderStrong skiing ability; must ski confidently on black diamond terrainReliable transportation requiredAbility to lift at least 50 lbsMust submit to a Criminal Background Check (CORI)Prior alpine race experience preferred but not requiredUSSA Level 100 certification preferred, with a current USSA coaching license and Tri-State Alpine Ski Racing Association membership Why Join Us?
