2026 - 2027 School Year - Speech Language Teacher

About the role

The Speech Language Teacher will provide speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders in accordance with Robertson County Schools' policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students identified with speech and language needs.
• Evaluate students' progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other special education teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement IEPs.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Tennessee.
• Experience working with students with communication disorders.
• Knowledge of current research-based practices in speech-language pathology.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule is flexible and will be determined based on the needs of the district and the teacher's qualifications.
