About the role

The Academic Coach will support the academic success of students in grades K-5 at Coopertown Elementary School. They will work closely with teachers to enhance instructional practices and improve student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Supports teachers in implementing effective teaching strategies and differentiated instruction.
• Assists in developing and implementing school-wide initiatives to improve literacy and numeracy skills.
• Mentors teachers on best practices for student engagement and assessment.
• Collaborates with other school staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student learning.

Requirements

• Certified in Elementary K-5.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of educators and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in educational leadership or coaching.

• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
