2026-2027 school year - Core (6th grade) Language Arts & Social Studies - (Abbott Middle School)

About the role

The San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking for Core teachers (Language Arts & Social Studies) for Abbott Middle School. Personalized induction at no charge to teachers! We accept up to 12 years of experience.

Pay:

• $1,500 Stipend for Master's Degree
• $1,500 Stipend for Doctorate Degree
• $2,500 Stipend for Title I School

Schedule:

• 10 days paid sick leave

Benefits:

• Fully Paid Medical/Dental for employee
• The District pays 100% of the lowest cost HMO plan for employee-only coverage. Commencing in the 2026-2027 plan year, the District's contribution toward two-party coverage will increase to 33 1/3 annually until the District reaches a maximum contribution of 100% of the two-party lowest HMO plan premium in the 2028-2029 plan year.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must have a Multiple-Subject credential w/ CLAD OR a Single Subject credential in BOTH Social Studies AND English.
