About the role
The Elementary Music Teacher will be responsible for delivering music education to students in grades K-5. This includes planning and implementing curriculum, assessing student progress, and collaborating with other educators.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students in grades K-5
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into the school’s overall curriculum
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Music Education preferred. Certification in Music Education from an approved state agency is required. Experience teaching music in a K-5 setting is highly desirable.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students. Knowledge of music theory and pedagogy. Proficiency in using technology in the classroom.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
Schedule
