About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational services to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms, labs, and outdoor environments. They will also be expected to collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, assess student progress, and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with district standards and objectives.
- Assess student learning through various methods and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with other educators to design and implement effective instructional strategies and assessments.
- Maintain accurate records and report on student progress as required by law and district policy.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
- Valid teaching license in the state of Kentucky.
- At least three years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Knowledge of current educational research and best practices.
- Proficiency in using technology to support teaching and learning.
