Employment Days: 190 (exact daily hours to be determined by supervisor)

Salary Rate: $25,765–$40,874

Application Requirements

• Copy of official transcripts verifying one of the following:
  • An Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited college, or
  • A minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college (official transcripts required within 2 weeks of hire date), or
• Copy of qualifying Praxis Paraprofessional test scores of 456 or higher. Information about the exam is available at http://berkeley.schoolwires.net/Page/14574.
• Negative TB test results under 1 year old. If the test has not been completed, upload a document acknowledging that results will be provided as soon as available. Delay in submitting results will postpone onboarding.

Praxis exams are offered through Berkeley County School District and Dorchester District 2 with a $75 registration cost at the time of testing. Depending on application volume, not all applicants may be interviewed, and applicants may be considered for multiple vacancies.
