About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students in grades K-5, focusing on core subjects such as reading, mathematics, science, and social studies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state standards.
• Assess student progress through various methods and provide feedback to improve learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive lesson plans and support classroom activities.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• Valid Nevada teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months of employment.
• At least two years of successful teaching experience at the elementary level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current educational technology and its integration into the curriculum.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain high academic standards.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

Candidates will work a standard school schedule, typically 7.18 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
