About the role

The General Science 7-8 Teacher position at North Las Vegas-Swainston, Theron MS is seeking an experienced educator to lead science classes for students in grades 7 and 8. The ideal candidate will possess a valid teaching license and relevant educational background.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards

Requirements

• Masters degree in Education or related field
• Valid teaching license in the state of Nevada
• Experience teaching middle school science
• Strong classroom management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage a classroom of 15-20 students
