About the role

The Gardening Instructor will be responsible for teaching gardening lessons to elementary school students in a multi-site setting.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement weekly gardening lessons aligned with educational standards
  • Supervise students during outdoor activities and ensure safety
  • Engage students in hands-on gardening activities such as planting, watering, and harvesting
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to integrate gardening into the curriculum

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Horticulture, or a related field
  • Experience teaching children in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of plant biology and horticultural practices
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Pass a background check

Pay
