About the role

The successful candidate will teach English in a secondary school setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards.
• Instruct students on reading, writing, grammar, literature, and other English-related subjects.
• Evaluate student progress through assessments and provide feedback.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license in the state of Nevada.
• At least two years of relevant teaching experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices.
• Ability to effectively manage classroom and student behavior.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes.

Pay

• $60,000 - $70,000 annually based on qualifications and experience.

Schedule
