[2026-2027] Elementary 4th Grade ELA Teacher

KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools · Philadelphia, PA · 3 wk ago
On-siteEducation$57k–$79k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes description of KIPP, mission, life at KPPS, job description (classroom responsibilities, professional responsibilities, school responsibilities), Who You Are, Qualifications, Additional Information (compensation, benefits). We must not repeat job title as heading. Use

for section headings. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also note: "Note To Applicants: KIPP Philadelphia Schools is an equal opportunity employer..." is EEO boilerplate, should be removed. Also "Compensation: The salary range for this position is commensurate upon experience and certification status:" includes "commensurate upon experience" which is placeholder? Actually they give ranges: Uncertified Range: $56,650 – 79,000+ Certified Range: $60,000 - $88,500+. That's specific, so we can include Pay section. They also mention benefits: comprehensive health benefits package, 403B matching, free access to financial advising, tuition reimbursement $5,000 for uncertified. So Benefits section. Schedule not mentioned, so omit. We need sections only when posting has real specific content. So we can have sections: About the organization? Possibly "About the role"? The posting includes mission and life at KPPS, which is about the organization. Could be "About the role" but maybe better "About KPPS" or "About the role". The instruction: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can use those headings if content matches. We have responsibilities (classroom, professional, school). Could combine into Responsibilities section with sublists? Probably separate subheadings not allowed; only h3 headings. Could have one Responsibilities section with lists for each type. Could also have Requirements (maybe qualifications). Skills maybe not explicit. We'll include: About the role (mission/life at KPPS), Responsibilities (classroom, professional, school), Qualifications, Benefits, Pay. We must not repeat job title as heading. No job title given explicitly; it's likely "Teacher" but not in text. So fine. We need to preserve all substantive information. Let's extract. About KPPS: first paragraph: "KIPP Public Schools is a national network of tuition-free public charter schools preparing students with the skills and confidence needed to create the futures they want for themselves, their communities, and us all. We are a network of 279 schools, nearly 16,500 educators, and 210,000 students and alumni. KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools (KPPS) is part of the national KIPP Public Schools network and currently leads eight schools serving 3,400 students in North and West Philadelphia. By 2030, KPPS will be serving approximately 4,000 students." Then mission: "KPPS Mission Together with families and communities, we create joyful, academically excellent schools that prepare students to pursue the paths they choose—college, career, and beyond—so they can lead fulfilling lives and build a more just world." Life at KPPS: paragraph about talented educators, commitment to anti-racism, joyful inclusive community, competitive & equitable compensation, professional growth, authenticity & belonging, people-centered excellence, comprehensive well-being support. That's substantive. We'll put that in About the role section. Responsibilities: we have Classroom Responsibilities (list of items), Professional Responsibilities, School Responsibilities. We'll combine into one Responsibilities section with maybe subheadings? But we cannot use other heading levels? Not prohibited but instruction only mentions using h3 for section headings. Could still use

    but safer to just use
    • and maybe separate paragraphs with

headings? Might be okay to use

      Classroom Responsibilities

then list. But they said use

for section headings; not forbidding other tags for subheadings. We'll keep simple: one Responsibilities section with three subsections each as

      ...

      then
. Who You Are: list of attributes. That's like Requirements or Qualifications? Actually "Who You Are:" is like desired traits. Could be placed under Requirements or maybe Skills. We'll treat as Requirements. Qualifications: bullet list of qualifications. Additional Information: compensation and benefits. We'll split into Pay and Benefits sections. We must not include boilerplate like "Note To Applicants: ..." EEO. Also remove duplicated lines: there may be duplicate sentences? Not seeing. Now craft HTML. Structure:
