[2026-2027] Elementary 1st Grade Math Teacher
for each heading. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose. Do NOT repeat job title as heading. Do NOT put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings. Remove boilerplate etc. Include only sections when posting has real specific content.
We need to parse the posting.
First part: description of KIPP Public Schools network, mission, life at KPPS. That could be "About the role" or maybe "About the organization". The instruction says use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we need to map content accordingly.
We have sections:
- About the role: maybe the mission and life at KPPS description (the first paragraphs). Could be "About the role" includes overview of organization and what you can expect.
- Responsibilities: includes Classroom Responsibilities, Professional Responsibilities, School Responsibilities. Those are lists.
- Requirements: maybe "Who You Are" (the bullet list of traits). Could be considered Requirements.
- Qualifications: explicit Qualifications section.
- Skills: maybe not explicit; we could omit if no specific skills listed besides those in Who You Are. But we could include Skills if we think there are skill statements: "You have experience driving student growth...", "You have passion for facilitating professional learning...", etc. Those are more like requirements/qualities. Could treat as Skills.
- Benefits: there is a paragraph about compensation and benefits: "All full-time team members at KPPS enjoy a comprehensive health benefits package...", "Uncertified teachers have access to $5,000 in tuition reimbursement". Also mention "Competitive & Equitable Compensation" earlier. So we can have Benefits section.
- Pay: there is Compensation section with salary ranges. So we need Pay section.
- Schedule: not mentioned explicitly. No schedule info. So we should not create Schedule section.
We must not create sections with filler like "commensurate with experience" etc. The Pay section must have actual content: salary ranges. The posting says: "Compensation: The salary range for this position is commensurate upon experience and certification status: Uncertified Range: $56,650 – 79,000+ Certified Range: $60,000 - $88,500+ Teacher salaries at KPPS are equitable and transparent...". So we can include that.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO etc. Remove "Note To Applicants: KIPP Philadelphia Schools is an equal opportunity employer." etc.
We must preserve all substantive information. So we need to include the mission, life at KPPS, responsibilities lists, who you are, qualifications, benefits, pay.
We need to format using
headings, - for lists,
for prose.
We need to avoid repeating job title. No job title given explicitly; but we can ignore.
We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences.
Let's craft.
First, About the role: combine the introductory paragraphs about KIPP Public Schools network, KPPS mission, life at KPPS, what you can expect (commitment to anti-racism, joyful community, etc.). That's prose; could be multiple
elements.
We'll put
About the role
then ...
maybe multiple paragraphs.
Next, Responsibilities: Responsibilities
then maybe subheadings? Not allowed; only h3 for section headings. Could we have nested headings? Not specified; we should only use h3 for section headings. Could we still use for subheadings? Not in rules; they only mention use h3 for section headings. Safer to just use - for all responsibilities, maybe grouping with
preceding each group? But we need to preserve structure. Could do
Classroom Responsibilities
then ... but that uses for subheading, which is okay. Not a section heading. So we can have
Classroom Responsibilities
then list.
Similarly for Professional Responsibilities and School Responsibilities.
Next, Requirements: maybe "Who You Are" bullet list. We'll use Requirements
then Who You Are:
then ... each trait.
Next, Qualifications: Qualifications
then list.
Next, Skills: maybe we could omit if not distinct. But we could treat "Who You Are" as skills; but we already used Requirements for that. Could combine. The instruction says prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we could merge Who You Are into Requirements or Qualifications. But Qualifications already has specific qualifications (experience, degree, certification). Who You Are are more like attributes/requirements. So we can keep Requirements for Who You Are, and Qualifications for formal qualifications.
Skills: maybe we could omit if no explicit skill list beyond those. Safer to omit Skills section.
Benefits: Benefits
then paragraph about health benefits, 403B matching, tuition reimbursement, etc.
Pay: Pay
then paragraph about salary ranges.
We must not include Schedule.
Now ensure we preserve all substantive information.
Let's extract details.
