2026-2027 Custodial Technician

The Custodial Technician Is Responsible For Embodying, advocating, and operationalizing the mission, vision, and strategic direction of the schoolMaintaining a clean and safe environment for all members of the school communityCollaborating with the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) to develop daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning plans for the building and groundsExecuting the cleaning plansRestocking bathroom suppliesRemoving trash and recycling from the buildingResponding to urgent custodial needs in a timely fashionAssisting with cafeteria services and cleaning, as neededWorking occasional weekends and vacation periodsTaking on other tasks as assigned by the Director of Finance and Operations What We Offer Click here for more information about our innovative compensation system. Position Requirements Belief in the mission and values of Crescent City SchoolsAt least two years of experience as a custodian or janitorExperience in schools and/or around school-aged children preferred Physical Requirements Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, kneel, crouch, bend, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsPosition involves daily exposure to cleaning agents, including bleachThis is an in-person role About Crescent City Schools Crescent City Schools is a nonprofit Charter Management Organization whose mission is to support and develop open-enrollment charter schools that raise student achievement and prepare students for college.
