About the role
The Counselor Elementary position at CCSD is responsible for providing academic, social, and emotional support to students.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions
- Implement school-wide programs to promote student well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community members to support student success
- Assess student needs and develop intervention plans
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field
- A master's degree in counseling or a related field preferred
- Valid Nevada teaching license
- Current certification in relevant subject area
