About the role
The role is based at LAS VEGAS-EAST CAREER TECH ACADEMY.
Responsibilities
- Provide social work services to students, families, and staff within the school setting.
- Assess and address the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students and their families.
- Collaborate with other school personnel to develop and implement comprehensive support plans.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Masters’ Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Licenses and certifications as per the requirements above.
- A valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in social work.
- Experience working with K-12 students and their families.
- Knowledge of educational systems and policies.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
