2026-2027 Assistant Principal of Instruction - Dutch Fork High School

About the role

This position is responsible for assisting the principal, teachers, and other instructional staff in coordinating and improving the instructional program of assigned grade level(s) to the benefit of every student. Assists with daily school administrative functions. This position is under occasional supervision. Reports to the Principal.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and improving the instructional program of assigned grade level(s)
• Enforcement of student discipline policies and procedures
• Supervision and coordination of the work of assigned personnel
• Ensuring adherence to school and district policies, regulations, and goals

Requirements

Candidates must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a valid South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) Principal or Supervisor Certification in one of the following areas: School Principal (Tier I or Tier II), Secondary Principal (Tier I or Tier II), Secondary Principal, or Secondary Supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least three years of teaching and administrative experience
• Must possess a valid state driver's license

Pay & Schedule

• Administrative Pay Scale / Grade 34
• 240 Days / 8 Hours Per Day
