BKF is excited to offer internship opportunities in our California, Bay Area offices for passionate civil engineering students looking for hands-on experience.

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic interns with strong technical skills and a genuine interest in land development, transportation, or water resources. As a civil engineering intern at BKF, you will work alongside experienced engineers on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

• Geometric calculations and plotting (cross-sections, profiles, etc.)
• Routine hydraulics calculations
• Site grading calculations and plotting
• Computer and CAD systems usage
• Research/data collection from public agencies

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in B.S. Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited curriculum or equivalent plus appropriate continuing education
• 1-2 years of specific civil engineering classes and/or other internship related experience
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented
