Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be as active in their lives as possible.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal preparation, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, etc.
• Assist individuals to medical appointments, banking, and community outings.
• Administer medications and follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and goals, and medical guidelines.
• Support individuals to become active members of their community and attend outings.
• Ensure safe evacuation of individuals from the home in emergencies.
• Maintain required certifications and comply with agency policies and DDS regulations/policies.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, overnights, or double‑shifts.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job and possess the knowledge, skills and abilities listed.

Benefits

• Sign‑on bonus: $1,000 for full‑time employees; $500 for part‑time employees.

Pay

$17.50 – $19.00 per hour.

Schedule

Wednesday–Saturday, 11 p.m. – 9 a.m.; Full‑time, 40 hours per week.
