This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.

About the role

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking an Election Clerk to join a growing and dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions related to voting, both in person and over the phone.
• Gather voter registration applications from various public and private agencies.
• Assist with mailing out ballots and handling the return of absentee ballots.
• Handle various data entry duties.
• Assist voters with ballots and voting machines.
• Validate and audit voter applications and replacement ballot requests.
• Assist with the training and recruitment of employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of customer service experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Fluent in Ilocano and Chinese is a plus.
• Ability to type 35 wpm with accuracy and utilize MS Office.
• Comfortable working in warm conditions without air conditioning.
• Strong time management skills.
• Effectively work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Pay

This position has a fixed pay rate of $20/hour.

Schedule

Full-time, contract position with a day shift from 7:45am to 4:30pm.
