About the role

We are a manufacturing company specializing in rubber products. You will lead "production control operations" within the production management group to maximize factory efficiency while flexibly responding to customer needs. This role requires decision-making based on an understanding of the manufacturing floor, not just data entry or communication tasks.

Responsibilities

• Production planning: Create daily and weekly schedules for each production line based on orders from the sales department. Assess equipment utilization, staffing, and raw material inventory to develop efficient, waste-free production plans.
• Interdepartmental coordination:
  • Respond to requests from the sales department, such as urgent additional orders or expedited deadlines, by evaluating the current workload on the production floor to determine feasibility.
  • Provide progress updates and delivery timelines to sales representatives, presenting production schedules that balance workload (e.g., overtime) with realistic expectations.

• Excel (SUM, AVERAGE, VLOOKUP functions)

Work environment

Requirements

• Hands-on experience using SUM and AVERAGE functions in Excel.
