Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Clerk to join their team. They are a growing company with numerous career advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Excellent customer service
• Cash handling and accounting
• Stocking, pricing, rotating, and displaying merchandise
• Housekeeping inside and outside of the store
• Store safety and security
• Deli food sales and cooking
• Operating computerized cash register
• Giving correct change, scanning credit cards, accepting and processing checks, and bagging merchandise
• Remembering regular customers' names and faces, answering and screening phone calls, policing the store, detecting shoplifters, and handling customer complaints
• Stocking shelves and coolers
• Completing shift work, cleaning and maintaining all areas of the store, completing vendor check-in procedures, completing the protocol system and “drive off” controls, and advising the store manager of any situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on store operating performance
• Sweeping the lot, shoveling snow, cleaning gas pumps, filling water/cleaning solution buckets on islands, and completing any other duties assigned by management
• Performing deli duties in smaller locations as described in the deli job description

Pay

$1/hr Shift Bonus between the hours of 4 pm - 8 am
