What You'll Do
Candidates must have prior experience and hold an Associate's degree or higher. Position requires 32 + hours per week and is considered full time. Days and hours are consistent each week.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or higher
- 1 or more year's experience as a lead teacher in a school or center
- Strong understanding of child development
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills, able to communicate in positive manner
- Classroom management expertise
- Experience in writing thorough lesson plans
- WMELS training preferred but will train
- Ability to utilize school resources to benefit children's development
- Flexibility in working with children and staff and ability to adjust program to benefit children
Nice to Have
- CPR certification
- Experience with different age groups
- Experience with team teaching
- Enjoys being creative and thinking outside box
- Bridges a favorite skill or hobby that could benefit others
Benefits
