2-3 hours per day babysitting / afterschool pickups

About the role

We need afterschool help with pickups for our two kids, bringing them to afterschool programs, occasionally cooking dinner or helping them with homework and/or their chores. Approximately 2–3 hours per afternoon, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Pick up children from school or afterschool programs
• Transport children to afterschool activities
• Occasionally prepare dinner
• Assist with homework and chores

Requirements

• Experience working with children
• Calm and easy-going demeanor
• Enjoyment of arts and play activities
• Comfortable around dogs (we have a friendly golden retriever mix)

About Us

Prospect Heights family with two children: a 10-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl. Working parents with at least one adult home by 6:30 p.m. almost every day. We work in arts and production, and our kids are easy-going and respectful.
