1st Year Tray Sorter (Union)

Pay

Entry-level, union position starting at $20.91 per hour with an additional $0.75 per hour for night shifts. After one year of employment, pay increases to $25.40 per hour per union contract.

Schedule

Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, depending on business needs).

Responsibilities

• Work on your feet in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, involving lifting, pushing, and pulling
• Produce molded fiber trays for packaging and shipping apples, avocados, eggs, and wine bottles

Requirements

• Commitment to join the United Steelworkers (USW) Union upon being hired
• Stable work history and strong work ethic
• Desire to learn and grow
• A “Can Do” attitude with a proven track record of reliability
• Prior manufacturing experience is not required; training will be provided
