About the Role
We value the safety and health of our associates! The Sanitation Warehouse role ensures the health and safety of all our associates by maintaining a clean and safe workplace. This position involves general cleaning duties in warehouse facilities, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas, as well as office areas as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
- Report all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
- Perform cleaning duties as assigned, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
- Handle all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
- Complete all assigned Pure Safety training modules in a timely and accurate manner.
- Operate pallet jacks to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles as required.
- Complete all assignments accurately and on time.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- 6+ months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
