1st Shift Warehouse Maintenance II

Our Maintenance Teams help keep the operation running smoothly and are comprised of hardworking, dedicated individuals who work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas as needed. About the role
Position Type: Full-Time
Starting Wage: $32.75 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $33.75 | Year 3 - $34.75

Responsibilities
- Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Provide equipment and facility feedback to warehouse management.
- Recommend changes to improve warehouse operations.
- Develop and implement solutions to technical and facility-related problems.
- Maintain effective communication and cooperation with relevant personnel on maintenance matters.
- Maintain and implement preventative maintenance programs; consult with management on maintenance needs, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
- Communicate appropriately with warehouse management, staff, and third parties regarding maintenance issues.
- Perform general cleaning duties to meet warehouse appearance and safety standards.
- Coordinate and schedule third-party vendors and contractors for repairs, preventative maintenance, and emergency work.
- Conduct and oversee inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs for equipment and facilities.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of company-sensitive data.
- Assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with warehouse facility, equipment, and systems.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on warehouse equipment, building interior, exterior, and systems in accordance with manuals, using hand and power tools.
- Assist with inventory management of maintenance supplies and parts.
- Support all responsibilities of warehouse maintenance level one as needed.
- Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.
- Follow the ergonomic program according to established procedures.
- Operate equipment according to safety guidelines.
- Notify management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with preventative maintenance management and documentation preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of warehouse maintenance experience on mechanical systems, warehouse systems, and AC/DC electrical systems preferred, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift up to 45 pounds at various heights.
- Frequently sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Continuously work in varying temperatures, including hot, cold, outdoor, refrigerator, and freezer environments.
- Ability to safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
Travel
Minimal travel required as needed for job-related duties such as training, project work, and administrative tasks.
