1st Shift Trainer (Bilingual)

About the role

Coordinates and facilitates orientation and annual training using Alchemy SISTEM. Ensures all employees starting work have complete understanding of our processes, safety procedures, and food safety procedures. Administers orientation and onboarding program. Tracks progression of new hires during first 90 days and assists management in retention action plans. Communicates Company policies and procedures to employees. Assists with hands on training for all employee job duties. Maintains new hire paperwork, and tracks all training records. Gives all new hires a plant tour, assists with on the floor training, and maintains a continuous presence throughout the production areas. Ensures new hires have the Personal Protective Equipment necessary for their position and understand how to use PPE. Sets up schedules for training times and completes all annual training by year-end each year. Corresponds with all levels of management throughout the facility to ensure training plans are communicated and issues are addressed. Provides support to HR department as needed. May be required to work occasional Saturdays as needed.

Requirements

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
• 1 to 2 years of experience training others, or with public speaking required
• Manufacturing or Food Manufacturing experience preferred
• Computer proficiency required
• Must be 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Professionalism in all aspects of work
• Strong organizational skills required
