About the Role
Calyx Living is seeking an energetic Assisted Living 1st Shift Supervisor in Charge (SIC) / Med Tech for our assisted living community in Wakefield, just off Capital Boulevard in North Raleigh. This role supports the supervision of care staff while administering medications and supporting Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) in providing personal care services to our seniors.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance to residents
- Supervise care staff and ensure training is up to date
- Maintain an updated work schedule, accounting for call-outs and changes
- Follow established safety precautions
- Administer medications as a certified Med Tech
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Prior experience as a Supervisor in Charge (SIC)
- Experience working with seniors strongly preferred
- Active North Carolina MT Certification
- Active CPR Certification
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
