What You’ll Be Doing Discard or reject product not meeting specificationsInspect, weigh, or measure materials and products for conformance to specificationsNotify supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying and correcting these problemsDiscuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actionsGrade and sort products according to sizes, weights, colors, or other specificationsInspect glass at light box inspection stationWeigh product containers to verify packaging weights and ingredient quantitiesPush stems down with two fingers into jar before syrup fillingPlace tamper resistant shrouds onto individual containers prior to heat shrinkAttach plastic lids to containerForm, tape, and line cases by hand for finished product packagingOther tasks as assigned What You Bring To The Table High school diploma or equivalentBasic math and clear communication skills. The Work Environment Exposure to wet/humid conditions and extreme heat/cold. Some high noise levels and moving mechanical parts. Exposure to brine, bleach, and cleaning chemicals. Must wear proper PPE such as bump cap, eye and ear protection, gloves, respirator to ensure your safety as well as protecting the quality of our products.
