1st shift Shipping Receiving Clerk Monday - Thursday 6am -4:30pm $24.60/hr

About the role

As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk at Kenco Logistics, you will verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. You will prepare outgoing shipments, receive deliveries, and manage warehouse operations using warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation, creation, retrieval, validation, and storage of documents necessary to support warehouse operations.
• Label, pack, and load items for shipment according to specifications.
• Stage shipments for shipping and prepare docks for receiving.
• Operate stretch wrap banders and prepare pallets and crates for shipping.
• Unload delivery vehicles and move items to appropriate areas.
• Inspect shipments for damage, compare items and quantities received against freight bills or other records, and document discrepancies.
• Maintain records of all items received and shipped via warehouse management and inventory systems.
• Check receipts against purchase orders for proper shipment, shortages, damages, or defects.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, following prescribed safety regulations.
• Ensure the facility is inspection-ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• In CGMP environments, monitor proper inventory requirements: FIFO (First In First Out), Lot, and Age.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
• Perform other applicable duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum six months of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to multitask safely.

Pay

The approximate pay range for this job is $19.31 - $28.93 per hour.
