1st Shift - Rewinder Operator

Salary range: $20.00–$24.00/hour (pending experience). Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor rewinder machinery.
• Complete all necessary documentation.
• Load materials, adjust settings, calibrate equipment, and palletize materials according to job specifications.
• Monitor the production process, inspect and test materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and assist with routine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Train and assist team members and other departments as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years in a related field preferred.
• Some manufacturing experience required.

Work environment

• Primarily indoors in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Safety shoes and vision protection required; hearing protection required in some areas.
• Exposure to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, moderate noise levels, and hot/humid conditions.

Physical demands

• Regular use of plant machinery, which may require certification.
• Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands/fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to get on and off equipment and stairs.
• Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
