1st Shift Quality Technician

What You'll Do

• Inspect aluminum extrusions to ensure they meet customer specifications and industry standards.
• Interpret Aluminum Association tolerances and engineering drawings.
• Create profile measurement inspection plans using AutoCAD and iNOEX software.
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify product quality.
• Perform calibration of measuring and temperature-related equipment.
• Conduct first article inspections and approve production start-ups.
• Perform mechanical testing, including tensile and hardness testing.
• Prepare quality documentation, including PPAP, CPK, and GR&R reports.
• Investigate quality concerns and work with production teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Review and disposition nonconforming material, scrap, and held orders.
• Respond to customer quality concerns and help drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Experience with precision measuring tools (preferred)
• AutoCAD experience is a plus
• Making manufacturing or quality control experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate
