1st Shift Production Associate

Responsibilities

• Operate machines per work instructions
• Work at different work stations and/or departments as production needs require
• Set up machines, stack, mark, pack, and transport finished parts
• Help others in need and work proactively to minimize production downtime
• Read job specifications and work instructions to determine work needed and material requirements
• Position work pieces against stops or align layout marks with fixtures
• Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction
• Check parts to determine accuracy
• Perform jobs in a safe and efficient manner
• Drive industrial lift vehicles with lifting devices such as forklifts to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials
• Maintain production cycle time on a daily basis
• Verify quality issues shown on defective code lists

Qualifications

• One month of experience in a Production Associate role or a related position

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
• Minimum exposure to weather conditions and moderate to loud assembly area noise levels
