1st Shift Powder Coat

About the role

Lippert is a leading, global manufacturer and supplier of highly engineered products and customized solutions, dedicated to shaping, growing and bettering the RV, marine, automotive, commercial vehicle and building products industries. This position is part of a team that applies powder coating to parts for assembly, conducts daily chemical checks, performs preventative maintenance, hangs and unloads painted parts, and assists in repair work.

Responsibilities

• Applies powder coating to parts for assembly
• Conducts daily chemical checks
• Performs preventative maintenance as required
• Hang and unload painted parts from baskets/pallets and takes painted parts to assembly cells
• Hang/remove parts on/from the conveyor line
• Manually push full racks to assembly and return empty pallets to powder paint line
• Observes all safety rules and policies maintained by the company
• Maintains raw material inventory (coatings, supplies, etc.)
• Rotates position within team structure as necessary
• Assists in repair work as necessary
• Maintains good housekeeping practices at all times

• Manufacturing/industry experience

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk and hear
• Frequent lifting and/or moving items over 50 pounds
• Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day

Schedule

Full-time position, hours of work and days typically Monday through Friday (5AM-3:30PM), with some weekends may be required.
