About the role

A 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Material Handler fulfills customer orders by retrieving and stacking specific product quantities as directed on pick tickets or computer screens. You’ll build stable pallets of product, operate powered industrial trucks safely, and support overall warehouse efficiency in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and place cases of product onto pallets according to pick tickets, ensuring safe, stable loads while meeting safety, accuracy, and efficiency standards.
• Transport pallets of stacked product to designated warehouse areas using a powered pallet jack.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and perform housekeeping tasks as assigned.
• Complete daily powered industrial truck (PIT) checklists and report any issues to management.
• Correct errors in product or quantity as identified by checkers.
• Perform additional duties to support warehouse operations in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant walking and repetitive lifting of up to 30 lbs (occasionally up to 75 lbs).
• Ability to collaborate in a team setting and adapt to changing work areas throughout the shift.
• Attention to detail to differentiate packages and follow computer-screen instructions accurately.
• Comfort working in a noisy, non-climate-controlled environment (hot in summer, cold in winter).
• Self-starter mindset with initiative to identify and pursue value-add opportunities.
• Flexibility to adjust schedules and hours based on business demands.
• Up to 12 months of relevant work experience.
• PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification for pallet jacks (preferred but not required).

Pay

$16.00 – $16.16 hourly, depending on experience.

Schedule

1st Shift (8:00 AM – until completion, typically around 3:00 PM).
