1st shift -Parking Garage Operations- General Enforcement
About the role
Your responsibilities will included (but are not limited to): disposing of trash from garage and picking up trash, enforcement, repair and maintenance of parking equipment, operating the garage floor sweeper and pressure washer, keeping all levels of the parking garage clean and debris free, changing light bulbs, painting, leaf blowing and possibly landscaping, providing winter weather support (snow and ice removal), performing emergency duties as required, working in inclement weather, willingness and ability to perform manual labor, mechanical capabilities and ability to acquire skill in the use of required tools and equipment, ability to communicate orally and in writing, ability to establish effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and the public, thorough safety consciousness, interfacing with customers and providing excellent customer service in the drive lanes as well as over the intercoms, being dependable, having a clean background/drug screen and motor vehicle record check, having a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Requirements
- You must be able to work in inclement weather
- You must be willing and able to perform manual labor
- You must be able to perform occasional or continuous heavy manual labor and work all day at laborious and strenuous tasks under adverse weather conditions
- You must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
- You must have mechanical capabilities and ability to acquire skill in the use of required tools and equipment
- You must be able to communicate orally and in writing
- You must be able to establish effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and the public
- You must be thoroughly safety conscious, taking precautionary measures when performing duties
- You must be able to interface with customers and provide excellent customer service in the drive lanes as well as over the intercoms
- You must be dependable, have a clean background/drug screen and motor vehicle record check
- You must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and your own reliable transportation to go between the garages in Asheville. The company will reimburse you $.60/mile on a monthly basis.
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Maintenance/janitorial experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Driver's license (Required)
