1st Shift - Painter II

About the role
As a Painter II, you will be responsible for prepping, cleaning, and checking the quality of parts before and after they travel through the paint line. This role operates on the 1st shift and reports to the Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Prep parts for powder coating or wet painting by cleaning with lacquer thinner and rags
- Hang prepped parts on the paint line
- Apply powder coat to bare metal
- Remove painted parts from the paint line and match parts with the correct documentation
- Identify poor quality parts
- Identify maintenance needed on equipment and tooling
- Work at different workstations as production needs require
- Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner
- Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation on individual’s product line or work cell
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Frequently – Walking, Reaching, Gripping, and Lift/Carry up to 25 lbs
- Constantly – Standing and Lift/Carry up to 10 lbs
Occasionally – Occurs up to 1/3 of the time
Frequently – Occurs 1/3 to 2/3 of the time
Constantly – Occurs 2/3 or more of the time
