Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively to maintain a positive, team-focused environment
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with all GMP requirements
• Review production schedules to prepare equipment setup and cleaning
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently
• Ensure proper coding, setup, and operation of all packaging equipment
• Inspect wrappers, conveyors, and equipment for optimal performance
• Identify and implement waste reduction opportunities
• Complete daily logs and required documentation accurately
• Monitor equipment for maintenance needs and report issues promptly
• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) as required
• Maintain and manage equipment setup, storage, and program updates
• Support packaging line efficiency and maintain established speeds
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Development on new products
• Assist in training new Set-Up Mechanics
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and line mechanics

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in packaging
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Frequent standing, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
• Exposure to dust, humidity, and temperature variations
