About the role
Provide material handling assistance to the production department.
Responsibilities
- Prep metal and have ready prior to roll change.
- Assist pan operators in changing out parent rolls.
- Keep trays assembled and ready for use by press operators.
- Keep finished pallets wrapped, ticketed, and transferred to warehouse.
- Maintain a constant supply of items essential to production.
- Empty trash bins on a regular basis.
- Process bales of scrap metal, including handling all paperwork and moving finished bales to the proper location.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the plant to GMP standards by removing dust, debris, and cobwebs from walls and ceilings.
- Sweep main aisles and perimeter runs daily.
- Perform any other duties as requested or required.
Requirements
- Stamina to function effectively during the plant’s busy season.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
