1st Shift Material Handler - 1350 Bridgeport Drive, Suite 21 Kernersville, Starting Pay $14.40 / hr.

Responsibilities

• Handles goods and materials, transporting to production and bin locations.
• Loads and unloads materials for production use.
• Puts raw materials and packaging supplies in proper inventory locations.
• Maintains a clean work area for safe and efficient operation.
• Inspects equipment as required to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Wears appropriate safety equipment at all times.
• Alerts management of issues or discrepancies.
• Participates in physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Supports other production teams or functions as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• One year experience in manufacturing.
• Constantly stand and frequently walk.
• Frequently bend from waist and twist.
• Constantly lift up to 30lbs/13.6kgs and occasionally lift up to 50lbs/23.6kgs from floor to overhead.
• Frequently reach horizontally and overhead.
• Occasionally reach horizontally.
• Constantly grasp, carry, and push with both hands.
• Constantly move arms, hands and fingers to grasp, manipulate, or move/transport objects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• General, verbal, and numerical intelligence, including reading and matching of numerical sequences.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and ruler; accurately read calipers.
• Knowledge of RF scan gun preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Skills

• Forklift experience.
• Pallet jack experience.
