1st Shift Manufacturing Operator

About the role

Operation of various hand tools and equipment to construct window units. Movement of materials and finished products within the production work area.

Responsibilities

• Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks
• Move carts in and out of production work area
• Load window sash components for processing insulated glass units
• Offload insulated glass units to carts
• Read and understand written work instructions
• Perform quality audits and engage in problem-solving activities to resolve issues of concern
• Ensure overall quality of work produced

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in industrial manufacturing required
• One (1) year experience in window & door manufacturing preferred but not required
• Ability to read a tape measure
• High degree of attention to detail and organizational skill
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including some overtime and weekends
• Ability to read and understand reports
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
• Capable of using computerized equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces for long periods in a non-temperature-controlled environment

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (8 hours)
• Overtime including weekends is occasionally required

Pay

Starting at $16.50 per hour.
