Position: Lead Production
Pay: $20-$21/hr
Job Summary
The Lead Production Associate acts as a liaison between the Production Manager and the staff who work on their assembly line. This position is in a fast-paced, order fulfillment atmosphere. This position involves training and coaching production associates, tracking line efficiency on the line paperwork, and escalating issues to supervision. The Lead Production Associate is also responsible for ensuring the team is operating in a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities

- Assist Production Manager with responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Supervision of facility and facility staff
- Execution of production plan and assignments
- Track production metrics
- Maintain/improve the condition of production equipment and facility
- Organize and track inventory using a systematic process
- Responsible for overseeing an effective quality system with adherence to GMP standards
- Organize and track all quality information in a clear and timely manner
- Work to improve quality standards in the production facility
- Implement and enforce safety guidelines
- Provide and document proper training for production staff
- Recommend methods to improve production and quality of production facility
Qualifications
- Hardworking and enthusiastic personality
- Must be minimum of 18 years of age
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently with limited supervision
- Able to manage and set priorities in a changing environment
- High degree of self-motivation and flexibility
- Analytical and structured work approach
Physical Demands
Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity. Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Schedule
Monday through Thursday - 6am-3:30pm
Fridays - 6am-10am
Flexibility is a must – hours subject to change based on production schedule
