Position Summary

Order Fillers label and put away materials received from other departments. They work with other departments to ensure delivery of materials safely and on time.

Responsibilities

• Labeling and counting materials received from other departments and putting them away in the correct area safely and on time
• Preparing accurate orders for outbound shipments
• Consolidating inventory
• Conducting weekly inventory - down stocking, refreshing labels as needed
• Using a scanner to verify and track orders
• May be required to use material handling equipment, following all safety rules
• Complying with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures
• Ensuring sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience operating forklift equipment a plus
• Experience with inventory/shipping a plus

ADA Requirements

• Medium work: exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Reaching: extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
• Standing: remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time

• Visual acuity: required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes. Also required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.

Job Conditions

The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions, protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.

Pay

USD $18.00 - USD $22.00
