About the Role

The Inventory Lead is responsible for documentation, tracking, and reporting of Company and Quality Training for site associates. This role assists with Safety & Quality through SOP Reviews, Quality Standards Communications, and ensuring site compliance with expectations. The candidate will follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed, while observing all company safety rules and assisting in enforcement as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Ensures audit preparedness
• Updates and maintains training matrix for all associates
• Responsible for maintaining all records and written procedures of Quality Systems for ID Logistics (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures, Monthly Quality Training)
• Ensures SOPs are up-to-date and reviewed as required
• Ensures all appropriate documentation and communication comply with Quality Requirements
• Ensures all documentation regarding internal audits is current; reports and informs associates of corrective actions that comply with QC reports
• Reports safety non-conformance
• Assures inventory accuracy and compliance for all DC5 accounts; identifies and researches unique inventory occurrences and corrections
• Investigates inventory discrepancies found through cycle counts and determines root cause
• Knowledge of Swiss Log, SAP, PKMS, Manhattan systems
• Follows corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and reports noncompliance when observed
• Observes all company safety rules and assists in enforcement as appropriate
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Two years’ related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email applications
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g., protective footwear, protective eyewear, hearing protection, bump cap, gloves) in accordance with safety policies
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from associates, managers, regulatory agencies, and the general public
• Ability to speak effectively with individuals at all levels within and external to the company
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals
• Basic arithmetic skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to generate and interpret graphs
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Pay

$24.50 per hour

Schedule

1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
