1st shift Furnace Operator

About the role

We are looking for a full-time furnace operator to perform duties to efficiently and effectively load and unload a variety of furnaces. Work is performed in a typical manufacturing environment with exposure to several elements continuously present including heat, dirt, grease, oils, fluids and noise.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts as required which includes operating multiple furnaces at one time in a fast-paced environment
• Inspect parts visually for foreign material and/or defects
• Adhere to work instructions and process cards as required per job
• Use various material moving equipment to process parts throughout the plant. e.g. manual and electric pallet jacks and pallet stackers
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand/walk for the entirety of the shift
• Manual dexterity, visual acuity, mental alertness
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally

Qualifications

• Previous sintering experience preferred
• Previous manufacturing experience 1 - 2 years preferred
