1st Shift Fulfillment Associate

About the Role

Mom’s Meals, the leading national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals in the healthcare market, is seeking a Fulfillment Associate to pick, scan, and pack a portion of each customer’s order in a safe and efficient manner. This fast-paced position requires working in a refrigerated environment (34-40 degrees) for the entirety of the shift.

Schedule

6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday at $17/hr.

Responsibilities

• Pick correct items for cooler boxes, scan appropriately, and pack items to complete your portion of the customer’s order.
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards.
• Pay close attention to detail while performing job duties, including reading labels and selecting product.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Produce consistent, high-quality work output.
• Move product between locations while following food sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Assist with general housekeeping.
• Work in a large warehouse area maintained at 34-40 degrees (gloves provided).

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Shifts may include weekends, holidays, and/or overtime.
• Strong service orientation and ability to work well with others.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic reading skills required.
• Must pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in warehouse distribution or a similar environment.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly use hands to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently stand, talk, and listen.
• Occasionally walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Able to perform repetitive movements.
• Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot).
