About the role
As an Inventory Researcher, you will investigate discrepancies, locate error sources, and initiate and complete cycle counts. You’ll oversee durable medical goods such as canes, wheelchairs, in-home hospital beds, and respiratory products—products critical to our customers' lives. You’ll contribute to best-in-class metrics in Safety, Quality, Service, and People.
Responsibilities
- Review variances and discrepancies within the Warehouse Management System and provide detailed information to inventory management.
- Analyze and reconcile inventory variances daily; issue periodic reports to inventory management.
- Record and create request approval for scrapping product based on site damage destruction forms submitted to inventory management.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of annual physical inventory.
- Demonstrate support and foster participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety norms, including maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
- Assist in QC inspection and sorting of damaged or re-boxable product.
- Assist in root cause analysis of lost and found product.
- Complete Damage/Destruction forms.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer skills (PC, MS Office—Outlook, Word, Excel), RF scanners.
- Able to use material movement equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- SAP or Warehouse Management System experience.
- 2–3 years of inventory experience is a plus.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail.

- Ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions.
- Analytic and proficient with numbers.
Physical Demands
- Physical activity includes walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Work is performed in a warehouse environment.
- May be subject to temperature changes and exposure to dust.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
Pay
$22.50 per hour, with a range up to $23.00 per hour based on experience, specialization, education, and company requirements. The provided range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
