1st Shift - Finishing - Primer/Sealer Sander - Class 2

Principal Functional Responsibilities

• Will be required to learn multiple finishing room jobs
• Move material and use computerized production tracking system
• Must be able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal, and follow those instructions
• Meet production goals and established quality standards
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Perform tasks required for the success of the department

Essential Qualifications And Skills

• One year of production experience or similar in carpentry or fast paced, detail-oriented environment is preferred
• Two to three years of work experience
• Knowledge of safe work practices
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Math skills
• Ability to read/write/communicate in English
• Ability to work in a team environment

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, climbing stairs, and pulling
• May be required to frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs as well as push/pull carts
• Hand dexterity and strength
• Will be exposed to finishing materials, vapors or fumes on a regular basis
• Overtime is required, including weekends sometimes with little or no advance notice
• May be required to work a flexible schedule
